Sofia has been getting a lot of mail violation notices recently. In an ongoing effort to be shittier the Oregon Department of Corrections revised its mail rule for 2025. It’s more restrictive now. If you’re sending any mail to Sofia (or anyone in the Oregon DoC) make sure it doesn’t violate any of these new rules in addition to the standard garbage the fucks do to keep people from getting mail.

The Mail Rule now prohibits these items:

— Postcards

— Cardstock (including Greeting Cards)

— Non-white Envelopes

— Envelopes of heavy paper

— Envelopes over 9” x 12”

— Envelopes that are not commercially produced

— Markers or heavy ink

— Non-white Paper

— Paper heavier that standard copy/printer paper
